The first Fiesta poster, created in 1981 with commissioned artwork by San Antonio artist Jesse Treviño, remains one of the most popular designs celebrating the annual event. Since then, the Fiesta Commission has held an annual competition to select artwork reflecting each year’s Fiesta theme.
