KCBDKCBD(KCBD)What to Expect Thursday

Thursday afternoon will bring a low probability for severe storms across the Caprock region, but the real threat comes as the weekend progresses.

KCBDKCBD(KCBD)

Friday afternoon and evening there will be another chance for showers and thunderstorms but coverage will be limited, overnight Friday is when the widespread showers are expected to begin.

KCBDKCBD(KCBD)

The Storm Prediction Center is monitoring a significant severe weather and flash flooding threat that will expand across the entire area as several rounds of storms and heavy rainfall are forecast Saturday and Sunday nights.

KCBDKCBD(KCBD)

Flash flooding is the primary concern due to so many potential back to back opportunities to see rainfall on and off the Caprock.

KCBDKCBD(KCBD)

Sunday overnight the forecast should begin to dry out as our low pressure systems and cold fronts move off to the east.
