Locals can check out these six events happening April 10-12 in Austin and beyond. Residents can hone their fishing skills at Southwest Williamson County Regional Park, fly a kite at Zilker Park or attend the Books and Bees Festival in Bee Cave.

Learn to Fish

Those interested in fishing can head to Southwest Williamson County Regional Park for the annual event. Residents of all ages will learn tips and techniques from local experts. Fishing poles and tackles will be provided.

Kyle Market Days: Spring Celebration

The monthly market includes local vendors, arts and crafts, farm-to-market items and live music, themed for spring.

4K Bluebonnet Ruck March and Spring Fling

Community members are invited to Restoration Ranch to enjoy an afternoon of food trucks, family-friendly games, pony rides, vendors, and a silent auction. The festival will kick off with a 4K march to raise veteran awareness.

ABC Kite Fest

The annual festival features hundreds of kites at Zilker Park.

Cedar Fest

The Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce is hosting a family-friendly event featuring local vendors, face painting, pony rides and a two-day barbecue cook off.

Books and Bees Festival

This annual Bee Cave Public Library festival blends literacy celebration with live bee education. The event will feature programming for all ages, including local authors, book vendors, hands-on bee and nature activities, and a honey tasting contest.
