Dave’s Hot Chicken has arrived in East Dallas with the opening of its new location, which aims to expand the area’s fast-food options.
The new restaurant is located at 4909 Ross Ave., Suite 100, in Dallas, marking its 15th location in North Texas, and it opened to the public on April 9.
Founded in 2017 in Los Angeles, the brand began as a casual concept specializing in Nashville-style chicken, with varying levels of heat.
Dave’s Hot Chicken got its start in a parking lot in East Hollywood, Calif., where a group of friends pooled $900 to buy a deep fryer and some chicken. In January 2018, they opened their first restaurant, and now they have more than 300 locations across the United States, Canada, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom.
At the opening of their first restaurant in North Texas in 2021, dozens of people waited for hours to try the food.
Dave’s Hot Chicken has locations in Mesquite, Richardson, Irving, Addison, Plano, Arlington, Lewisville, Hurst, McKinney, Fort Worth and Denton.
