HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A shooting that may have stemmed from a fight is under investigation along the Gulf Freeway on Wednesday, according to police.
The Houston Police Department said officers responded at about 11 a.m. to 5449 Gulf Freeway.
Police said there was a fight between two people in a vehicle on the feeder road of the freeway when one person shot the other within the vehicle.
SkyEye flew over the active scene, where HPD cruisers could be seen blocking the feeder road.
The department did not give more details about the person who was shot, but said police escorted EMS to the hospital.
It’s unclear if anyone has been placed into custody.
