The military ensemble will take the stage at major Fiesta events, offering free performances throughout April.

SAN ANTONIO — As Fiesta season kicks off in San Antonio, one group is bringing a patriotic soundtrack to the celebration.

The US Air Force Band of the West is set to perform all across the city throughout April as part of the 135th annual Fiesta festivities.

Based at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, the band is made up of 61 highly trained Airmen musicians who serve their country through music—performing for live audiences, broadcasts and major community events.

Known as musical ambassadors of the U.S. Air Force, the group travels more than 125,000 miles each year, delivering hundreds of free performances to both military and civilian audiences.

During Fiesta, their performances will be woven into some of the city’s most iconic events, giving residents and visitors multiple chances to catch them live.
