PASADENA, Texas – There was a heavy law enforcement presence in a Pasadena neighborhood Monday where a reported immigration operation was taking place, according to officials.

Details are limited at this time, but Pasadena Police Department did confirm to FOX 26 that there was an immigration operation at in the 140 block of W. Houston.
Pasadena PD said they were not assisting ICE with the operation, but officers were at the scene assisting with traffic. They have since left the location.
What they’re saying:
A friend of the family tells FOX 26 that two men went to a nearby business while headed to work, and they reportedly encountered ICE. We’re working to find out if there was an incident at the business.
The two men allegedly returned to a home on W. Houston and were barricaded inside for hours.
ICE agents allegedly surrounded the home until the two men were detained.
We are told the two men are related.
What we don’t know:
The men who were detained have not been identified. It’s still unclear exactly what transpired.
FOX 26 has reached out to ICE for a statement, and we are waiting for a response.
