The pedestrian who died after being hit by a vehicle near U.S.-75 has been identified as 46-year-old Robert Franck McAuley, Jr.
McAuley died at 2:48 a.m. on Easter Sunday. The Dallas Morning News reported the scene being in the 4100 block of North Central Expressway, but the Dallas County Medical Examiner records have the place of death listed at U.S.-75 and Knox Street.
The driver who hit McAuley reportedly did not stop, according to The Dallas Morning News. The medical examiner described the manner of death as an accident.
