Red Italian Grill to offer Italian comfort food this summer
The restaurant one floor below cocktail bar Ruby Rodeo is slated to open this summer in Denton, co-owner Mike Church said. It will feature a rotating seasonal menu inspired by Italian comfort food, executive chef Denise Fullmer said.
The summer menu will include scallops, lemon and shrimp pasta and branzino, she said. Other menu items include bruschetta, fried Brie cheese, Italian onion soup, salads, pastas such as chicken piccata, lasagna and steak.
Za Zoom Pizza to offer drive-through pizza by the slice in Fort Worth
The new drive-thru pizza concept is coming to the north Fort Worth area in the fall and will offer pizza slices and whole pies from a stand-alone drive-thru window, co-owners Sean Brown and Tyler DiGiovanni said.
The pizza place will have six staple pizza flavors, including cheese, meat lovers and veggie, then rotating pizzas of the month, such as barbecue chicken or Buffalo chicken.
Bread Zeppelin to bring signature salads-in-baguettes concept to Allen
The restaurant offers a variety of salads, including classic Caesar, buffalo chicken, southwest and more, according to its website. Customers can order salads in a bowl or inside a baguette.
“We take an artisan baguette, toast it to perfection, pull out the soft insides and stuff it full of your customized chopped salad,” the website states.
Robo Shawarma opening soon in Frisco
The eatery is set to open in late April off Custer Road, according to a business representative. The restaurant’s menu will feature freshly carved shawarma wraps and plates.

Royal Roastery now serving Middle Eastern roasted nuts, sweets in Richardson
The third and largest location of the New Orleans-based dessert shop opened April 4, roasting around 80 different kinds of nuts in-house and serving sweets including cheesecake, baklava, crepes and coffee.
According to Royal Roastery’s social media, it is also planning to open an additional Richardson location on Campbell Road.
