HOUSTON (WVUE) – Multiple media outlets report Baton Rouge rapper NBA Ben10 was among two people critically injured in a shooting at a Houston restaurant late Wednesday night.
A Houston TV station reported one of the victims was Ben Anthony Fields, known as rapper NBA Ben10. The station said family members confirmed he was recovering in the hospital, though police had not officially confirmed his identity.
NBA Ben10 is a Baton Rouge rapper associated with rap superstar NBA YoungBoy.
Officers responded around 11:30 p.m. to reports of gunfire at Confessions in Houston’s Upper Kirby area. Houston police said the shooting happened during a fight in which a man who appeared to be getting assaulted and robbed pulled out a gun and began firing, striking two people.
Both victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities have not announced any arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing, according to Houston-area reporting.
