A woman shot her boyfriend and two other men during a fight outside a home in far north Fort Worth on Wednesday night, police said.

Police were dispatched to a house in the 5100 block of Persimmon Court about 8 p.m. in response to a report of a fight, according to online 911 call records.

The preliminary investigation of the shooting found that a man and woman were having an argument outdoors in the cul-de-sac near a parked vehicle, according to Officer Buddy Calzada, a police spokesperson. Two neighbors heard the commotion and approached the car, and a fight ensued involving all four people, he said.

The woman pulled out a handgun and shot her boyfriend, with whom she had been arguing, and the other two men, police said.

The three men who were shot were taken to a hospital, with one patient in serious condition and two in critical condition, a Fire Department spokesperson said. An ambulance was also called for a fourth person, but details about that person’s injuries were not immediately available, according to the Fire Department.

The woman was detained, police said. Gun violence unit detectives are investigating the case.
