A crash involving a Harris County Precinct 5 deputy is under investigation in southwest Houston after multiple people were taken to the hospital early Friday morning.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. near Fondren Road and Bissonnet Street, just south of the Southwest Freeway.
According to Precinct 5, a deputy was traveling along the 7200 block of Bissonnet when a van ran a red light. The deputy’s vehicle then T-boned the van.

Authorities said three people were taken to the hospital. There has been no information released about their conditions.
Officials have not shared additional details about how many people were involved or whether the deputy was among those taken to the hospital.
