The City of Corpus Christi has announced an emergency road closure beginning April 10th at the cul-de-sac located at Caplin Drive and Paint Rock Road.

This closure is necessary to repair a broken water line in the area. Crews will be working to drain excess water and complete the needed repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

During this time, Caplin Drive in this section will be closed to through traffic. However, residents will continue to have access to their homes and driveways, and water service will not be interrupted.

Motorists are encouraged to follow all posted detour signs, which will be clearly marked to help maintain traffic flow and ensure everyone’s safety.

The closure will remain in place until construction is complete.
