SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A young girl who showed up at a Northside ISD campus while carrying three weapons was taken into custody Monday.

KENS-5 reports it happened at Earl Warren High School.

According to an email sent out by the Principal Melissa Hurst , the girl, who does not attend Warren High, walked into the building just after 11 a.m. and stated she wanted to register at the campus.

Northside ISD police and school administrators began questioning the girl. That’s when they found the three weapons, reported by KENS to be two guns and knife.

The girl was taken into police custody and there has been no further information about the girl or the charges she may face.

School officials say there is no further threat to students or staff and the incident is under investigation.
