Spring is officially here. Fiesta is coming. But while festive events may be a bright silver lining, the dark cloud of traffic and road closures looms overhead.
To help guide your path through the fuss of Fiesta season, we’ve created a list of road closures as prepared by the municipal Center City Development and Operations department.

Not all event-related road closures have been announced as of Friday, so this list will be updated with more information as it becomes available.
April 11
The San Antonio Book Festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Central Library and UT San Antonio Southwest Campus, with road closures to be decided.
The March of Us will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon, beginning at 100 Dolorosa St. and ending at 1416 N. Main Ave. The march will be guided with an SAPD escort. For a route map display, click here.
The Save Our Children March will take place from 1Â to 4 p.m., beginning and ending at Milam Park. The march will be guided by an SAPD escort. For a route map display, click here.
Guayabera Fest will take place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Travis Park. Road closures will occur on Jefferson Street between Travis and Pecan.
April 16

Fiesta Fiesta will take place from 4Â to 10 p.m. at Travis Park, with road closures on Navarro Street between Travis and Pecan, on Pecan Street between Navarro and Broadway, as well as on Jefferson Street between Travis and Martin.
April 17
Fiesta de los Reyes will take place from April 17 through April 26 at Market Square, with official road closures to be decided.
April 18
The UT San Antonio Fiesta Arts Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 18 and from 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. on April 19 at the UT San Antonio Southwest Campus, with road closures on Augusta Street between Navarro and Giraud.

April 20
The Pilgrimage to the Alamo parade will take place from 4 to 5 p.m., beginning at the Vietnam Memorial at 451 Jefferson and ending at the Alamo. The march will be guided by an SAPD escort, with the route closed from 2:30Â to 5 p.m. on the day of the event. For a route map display, click here.
April 21
A Night in Old San Antonio, or NIOSA, will take place from 5Â to 10 p.m. on April 21 through April 24 at La Villita. Road closures have yet to be announced.
April 23
Fiesta San Fernando will take place from April 23 through April 25 at 115 Main Plaza. Road closures have yet to be announced.
April 24
The Battle of the Flowers Parade will take place at 10:30 a.m. in downtown. It will begin on East Locust Street and end on East Martin, with road closures taking place along the parade path. For a parade route map, click here.
April 25
The Fiesta Flambeau Parade will take place at 7:30 p.m. in downtown, with road closures taking place along the parade path. For a full parade route map, click here.
