TEXAS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) launched an investigation into a crane that tipped over in Texas Township on Wednesday.
News Channel 3 crews were at the crane on 5th Street on Wednesday, and observed crews with Frontline Tree Service, Consumers Energy and the Texas Township Fire Department at the scene.
It is unclear if anyone was injured, though power was knocked out for some time.
MIOSHA released the following statement in regards to the investigation:
“MIOSHA has initiated an investigation into the incident that occurred in Texas Township on April 8, 2026. MIOSHA cannot provide information on an open investigation,” said MIOSHA via a spokesperson.
