It might have felt like we’d never see the day, but colder-than-normal weather is headed to Dallas-Fort Worth.
The day is expected to start with mild temperatures, with an above-normal morning low of 65 degrees. The National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office expects the temperature to peak by 10 a.m. at 72 degrees, before falling the rest of the day.
As winds pick up, they’ll be blowing in colder air. A wind advisory was issued by the weather service, starting at noon Tuesday, for sustained winds of 20-30 miles per hour and gusts up to 45 miles per hour. The advisory, which recommends securing lightweight outdoor objects like Halloween decorations, is expected to be in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
