An El Paso woman was arrested on an intoxicated manslaughter charge almost a month after she allegedly caused a crash that resulted in the death of a 15-year-old girl on Interstate 10, authorities said.
Officers arrested 22-year-old Andrea Fernanda Soria on Thursday, April 9, on suspicion of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle in the death of Sophia Elize Ramirez, El Paso police spokesman Officer Adrian Cisneros said in a news release.

The collision caused Ramirez to be thrown from the Ford Escape. She suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. Ramirez died at the hospital on March 19.
There were four other people — the driver was a 33-year-old man, and the passengers were a 36-year-old woman, a 1-year-old boy and an infant girl — in the Ford Escape at the time of the crash. Two 21-year-old women were passengers inside the Mustang. No other injuries were reported.
Soria was booked into the Downtown El Paso County Jail on Friday, April 10 — almost a month after the fatal crash — on a $150,000 bond. She posted a surety bond and was released from jail the same day, jail records show.
