BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas (SMU) — The Mustangs competed at Texas A&M’s 44 Farms Team Invitational thisĀ weekend,Ā andĀ Kirin ChacchiaĀ came away with a personal best. She ran 57.27 to win the 400-meter hurdlesĀ and lower her school record.Ā
Also, in day one in the 200,Ā Jasmine Franklin ran 24.21,Ā Ariana Sutton ran 24.32 and Haylie Donovan ran 24.55.Ā Ā
To kick off day two, Renee Finke and Brentley Preston competed in the javelin and shot put. Preston came away with personal bests in both events ā throwing 26.19 meters in the javelin and 8.97 meters in theĀ shot put.Ā
Nea Sanders ran 13.61 in the 100-meter hurdles, andĀ Jasmine Franklin ran 11.78 in the 100.Ā In the 400, Magnolia Crissup ran 55.77.Ā
