Six people were taken to the hospital from a location near White Rock Creek Trail after they were stabbed at another location, police said.

DALLAS — Six people were taken to a hospital after police were called to a location near White Rock Creek Trail, Dallas police said. The victims were stabbed at another location, police said. 

Officers responded around 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, April 12, to a stabbing call in the 2900 block of West Lawther Drive, the Dallas Police Department said in a press release. 

Investigators found that six people were cut during a disturbance at another location, police said. All six people were taken to a hospital for their injuries, the release states. 

It’s not immediately clear what disturbance led up to the incident or where the stabbing initially occurred. 

Police are investigating the incident.Â
