Plano Police are investigating a fatal crash after a SUV struck and killed a pedestrian Saturday Night.
According to police around 8:45 p.m., officers and Plano Fire-Rescue were called out Westbound East Parker Rd. and N. Avenue.
In a news release authorities said a white Lexus SUV driving westbound on East Parker Rd hit a man walking northbound across East Parker Rd.
Police said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital where he died. On Monday the man was identified as 44-year-old Milton Ochoa Cifuentes from Plano.
Investigators said it does not appear speed or alcohol were factors in the crash. It remains under investigation.
