Five people at a family gathering were injured Saturday in Fort Worth when an argument escalated to gunfire, police said.
Fort Worth police responded to a shooting call shortly before 10:45 p.m. to the 5200 block of Shackleford Street, spokesperson Daniel Segura told The Dallas Morning News.
Police said the shooter, who remains at large as of Sunday afternoon, pulled out a gun and opened fire on people at the event, Segura said. All five victims were taken to a hospital for treatment and were said to be in stable condition.
Police did not immediately say what led to the argument or what it was about. It was also not clear if the shooting suspect knew the victims. .
