FORT WORTH, Texas — One person is dead after a six-vehicle crash Sunday night on Interstate 35W in Fort Worth, officials say.Â
According to Fort Worth Police, officers were dispatched just before 11 p.m. Sunday to the southbound lanes of I-35W at I-20 for a traffic accident.
Officers reported six vehicles involved in the crash. I-35W was shut down for several hours while crews investigated and cleared the scene. The interstate has since been reopened.Â
Multiple people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials. One person died on the scene.Â
The Fort Worth Police traffic unit continues to investigate the crash.Â
