Crash closes nearly all eastbound lanes of I-30 in Arlington, according to TxDOT

A crash on Monday afternoon shut down all but one eastbound lane of Interstate 30 near the Arlington border with Fort Worth, TxDOT cameras show.

ARLINGTON, Texas — A crash on Monday morning shut down several of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 30. 

The crash was reported around noon on Monday, April 13, in the eastbound lanes of I-30 at North Fielder Road, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. 

Around 12:30 p.m., just one lane of traffic was getting by, according to TxDOT. It’s not clear what may have caused the crash or when the road may reopen.

WFAA has reached out to Arlington police and fire for additional details. The Arlington Fire Department said it cannot describe the crash until the scene clears. Police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
