This homecoming season, instead of cheering on your favorite team, you can support local musicians through “Housing Opportunities for Musicians and Entertainers,” or “HOME.”
The organization invites you to participate in “Homecoming” next month. Executive Director Hanna Cofer and musician and HOME client Fred Jay Ross joined Trevor Scott to share insights into this vital mission.
Cofer explained that Austin Homecoming is an initiative to support musicians by providing housing opportunities.
Ross emphasized the importance of HOME’s work, sharing his experience as a musician in Austin and highlighting the challenges artists face. Cofer encouraged Austinites to get involved throughout November, noting that HOME plays a crucial role in the Austin music community.
