After a brief respite from storms Monday, the chance for turbulent weather returns Tuesday to North Texas.
The day will begin mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.
Temperatures are expected to top out near 82 degrees before dropping to 67 degrees overnight. The chances of showers and thunderstorms are forecast to rise to 40% after 7 p.m. Wind gusts could climb as high as 30 mph during the day, the weather service said.
Storms are possible on Wednesday as well, but Thursday could bring some sunshine to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
