CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A food distribution event is taking place on Tuesday morning at the Coastal Bend Food Bank, offering assistance to residents in need while supplies last.
The drive-thru distribution runs from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at 5442 Bear Lane.
Organizers say the event is open to the community, with a focus on helping new neighbors who have not previously attended.
New participants are asked to pre-register by phone. Those who have already attended past distributions do not need to register again.
Attendees are reminded to follow all on-site guidelines to keep the process moving safely and efficiently.
Drivers should have their QR code ready for scanning, remain inside their vehicles at all times, avoid leaving cars unattended, and refrain from using phones while moving through the line.
All traffic rules must also be followed during the distribution.
Organizers note the event will end at 9:30 a.m. or earlier if supplies run out.
