The incident happened on the eastbound frontage road on April 10.

AUSTIN, Texas — A pedestrian who was killed in a southeast Austin crash on Friday has been identified.

According to the Austin Police Department (APD), officers responded around 6:30 a.m. to a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian on the eastbound frontage road in the 2100 block of East Ben White Boulevard.  

APD said the driver was not impaired, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The driver and a passenger were treated for minor injuries.  

The pedestrian, identified as 30-year-old Jada Martin, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

The crash remains under investigation by APD.
