AUSTIN, Texas — A pedestrian who was killed in a southeast Austin crash on Friday has been identified.
According to the Austin Police Department (APD), officers responded around 6:30 a.m. to a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian on the eastbound frontage road in the 2100 block of East Ben White Boulevard. Â
APD said the driver was not impaired, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The driver and a passenger were treated for minor injuries. Â
The pedestrian, identified as 30-year-old Jada Martin, was pronounced dead at the scene. Â
The crash remains under investigation by APD.
