Harold and Courtney Polk have opened Puffy Cotton Candy inside Grapevine Mills.

According to the website, Puffy Cotton Candy is an innovative company centered around the experience of seeing cotton candy spun fresh in a store.

Employees design cotton candy characters such as a rainbow unicorn, puppy dog, cows, fox, hippo, duck, pigs and a new collaboration with Sonic the Hedgehog.

The cotton candy is gluten-free, fat-free, nut-free, dairy-free and soy-free, according to the website.

The store also offers traditional cotton candy clouds and cakes with such flavors as banana, blue raspberry, chocolate, lemon, orange, strawberry, cherry grape, lime, pink vanilla, watermelon and birthday cake, according to the menu.

Puffy Cotton Candy moves into a space which was occupied by Pepper Tree, a men’s clothing store. That store closed in October 2024, according to previous reporting.

The Polks will open more stores in the coming years. According to the website, a location in Dallas will be next in 2026 or 2027, followed by Fort Worth in 2027 or 2028.

Other locations are located in Florida, Nevada, New Jersey and Tennessee. Founders Brendon and Holland Curtis opened the first location in suburban Nashville in 2022.
