LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The South Plains Food Bank has another 250,000 servings to serve in its meals.
Frenship ISD donated a quarter-million portions of macaroni and cheese Tuesday. It was part of a fundraiser the district put together with the food bank in December.
Superintendent Michelle McCord celebrated the work of the students who helped put on the “Cheddar Together” drive, saying it’s part of the district’s “serve” model, aimed at teaching kids the importance of supporting your community.
