The Koffee Kup Co. has been one of the few coffee shops open in the Jefferson area throughout its eight-year run, but soon, the neighborhood cafe will serve its last cup of joe. The San Antonio business penned a brief post on Facebook to announce its final day of service, which is planned for this coming Sunday.
“After 8 amazing years, Koffee Kup is closing its doors. Our last day is April 19th — come by, grab a coffee, and celebrate all the memories with us! Thank you for being part of this journey,” the coffee shop wrote.
MySA reached out to The Koffee Kup Co. for additional comment about the closure and what it meant to serve the area for eight years.
“The Koffee Kup was always about building a space for the community. After years of serving San Antonio, we’ve made the decision to close as we shift into a new chapter,” the cafe told MySA in a message exchange. “We worked there as a family, and now the kids have grown up, and our careers have shifted.”
The Koffee Kup Co. is presently only open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, so this coming weekend (April 18-19) will be the last time to visit the Donaldson Avenue shop.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the support and connections we’ve built along the way. We will definitely miss everyone,” said The Koffee Kup Co. in a direct message.
