Get your capes ready and your lightsabers charged! Texas’s premiere pop culture event, Comicpalooza, is returning to the George R. Brown Convention Center this May. Whether you’re a die-hard anime fan, a comic book collector, or just looking for a weekend of otherworldly entertainment, the 2026 lineup is shaping up to be one for the history books.
When and Where is Comicpalooza Houston?
Comicpalooza 2026 will take over the George R. Brown Convention Center from Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24. The event fills over one million square feet of space with exhibitors, panels, and immersive attractions.

The 2026 Celebrity Appearances
The marquee event of 2026 Comicpalooza Houston is an appearance by Daredevil: Born Again stars, including:
Vincent D’Onofrio (Full Metal Jacket, Men in Black)
Charlie Cox (Daredevil)
Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad, Jessica Jones)
Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixie)
Bethel, Cox, Ritter will make an appearance on Saturday, May 23, only. D’Onofrio will appear Saturday and Sunday.
Other notable celebrity appearances at Comicpalooza this May include The Matrix stars Laurence Fishburne, Joe Pantoliano, and Marcus Chung as well as appearances by Steve Burns (Blues Clues), Rainn Wilson (The Office), Legends like Pam Grier (Jackie Brown), Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk, I Love You, Man), and Edward James Olmos (Battlestar Galactica, Blade Runner) will also be in attendance.
For voice acting and animation fans, the cast of Rick and Morty (Ian Cardoni, Harry Belden, and Spencer Grammer) will be in attendance, alongside stars from Demon Slayer, Halo, and Spider-Man.
Special Attractions & Activities
In keeping with comic theme, Comicpalooza will feature an action-packed program of special events over the course of the weekend. Attractions slated for the festival include a 13th Floor Haunted House, Dagorath LARP experience, Okashi Japanese arcade, full steel combat, an Itasha Showdown, a robotics showcase, and Comic Couture.

The Dealer’s Room and Artist Alley will feature over 400 exhibitors. You’ll find everything from rare silver-age comic books and hand-drawn fan art to custom dice, apparel, and hard-to-find Japanese imports.

Tickets to Comicpalooza start at $51 for Single Day Passes (Friday). Weekend Passes start at $113.99.
