EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 30-year-old woman was arrested and faces two aggravated assault charges after investigators say she pointed a handgun at two people following a road rage incident in far East El Paso County.
Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office responded April 8 to a report of a subject with a weapon in the 13600 block of Eastlake Boulevard.
Deputies contacted a victim who reported that after a road rage incident, a female suspect confronted him and, as he tried to leave, pointed a handgun at him.
The suspect was identified as Adleena Zhana Sibande, 30. Deputies located Sibande, recovered the handgun and took her into custody.
She was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with bond set at $20,000.
On April 10, 2026, after the case was assigned to detectives for further investigation, investigators determined Sibande had also pointed the handgun at another female victim. An additional warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was issued, with bond set at $25,000, and Sibande was rebooked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on the additional charge.
