HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Police said officers located the body of an adult found in a small drainage canal in northeast Houston on Wednesday afternoon.
The Houston Police Department said officers responded to the 9800 block of Ribbonwood Street near Sterlingshire Street.
SkyEye flew over the scene on Wednesday afternoon, showing emergency crews responding to the scene where a dead body was found.
The identity of the person is still unknown. Details are limited on what led to the incident. HPD said an investigation is currently underway.
