EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Rhinos are moving on in the NAHL Robertson Cup Playoffs after defeating the Oklahoma Warriors in a best-of-three opening-round series over the weekend.
After dropping Game 1 by 4-3, El Paso responded with back-to-back wins at home to close out the series and advance to the next round of the playoffs.
The Rhinos put together a strong all-around performance throughout the series with Oklahoma, producing on both ends of the ice to secure the series victory.
Across the three games, El Paso outscored Oklahoma 12-6.
With the win, the Rhinos now advance to the NAHL South Division Semifinals, where they will face the New Mexico Ice Wolves in a best-of-five series.
