A motorcyclist was killed on Thursday after their bike went into a ditch, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said.

DALLAS — A motorcyclist died on Thursday after crashing into a ditch in Dallas County, officials said. 

The crash was reported on Thursday morning at the intersection of Bilindsay Road and Davis Road, according to a press release from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office. 

Investigators found that the crash happened a few hours before a passerby saw the wreck and reported it, the release states. He was taken to a hospital where he died, the release states. 

It’s not yet clear exactly when the crash occured or what may have caused it. The incident remains under investigation, officials said.Â
