EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – On Saturday, October 18th, residents across the Borderland will lace up their walking shoes and come together at Ascarate Park for the highly anticipated NAMIWalks El Paso 2025. The region’s largest event is dedicated to raising awareness and advancing the cause of mental health.

Organizers said this year’s walk is set to draw over a thousand participants, from mental health advocates to concerned citizens, all united under the banner of “Mental Health for All.” With the pressing issue of mental health care on the rise, NAMIWalks El Paso offers a critical platform for raising awareness, spreading hope, and empowering local communities to take action.

The mental health crisis in America touches one in five individuals, and with each passing day, awareness of this issue grows. As the conversation around mental health becomes more open and urgent, NAMIWalks El Paso hopes to shine a light on the necessity of accessible, affordable mental health care for all.
