Friday brings sunshine during the day and clouds at night to Dallas-Fort Worth.
The day will start partly sunny with temperatures topping out at 84 degrees and south wind gusts as high as 30 mph, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to 55 degrees.
There is a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms at night, especially after 1 a.m., according to the weather service. Parts of North Texas area could receive anywhere between a tenth and quarter of an inch of rainfall.
It is expected to be a cooler weekend with high temperatures only in the 60s and 70s on Saturday and Sunday.
The chances of precipitation are expected to linger through the weekend, but the sun might return to D-FW sometime over the weekend, possibly Sunday.
