FORT WORTH – Previously scheduled to host Stanford, who canceled the contract as a result of the ACC’s expansion to a nine-game conference schedule, TCU will now host DFW-neighbor North Texas for a home contest during the 2027 non-conference slate.
The game is tentatively set for week two, Saturday, Sept. 11, 2027, pending television selections. TCU will now open that season against Alcorn State, a game originally slated for week two, following the Stanford cancellation.
It will be the first meeting on the gridiron between TCU and North Texas since 2002.
