Dallas International School’s six-week program blends academics, creativity and hands-on learning for ages 3–17
For families mapping out summer plans, finding a program that balances structure, creativity and flexibility can be a challenge. Dallas International School’s six-week summer camp is designed to bring those elements together, offering a customizable experience for children ages 3 through 17 that adapts to a wide range of interests and schedules.
With both full-day and half-day options available, the program allows parents to build a summer routine that works, while giving students the opportunity to explore new subjects, develop skills and stay engaged throughout the season.
A Camp Built Around Choice
Rather than following a single track, the program is designed to give students the ability to move between different areas of interest.
Campers can spend part of their day in creative disciplines like pottery, photography and video production, then transition into music-focused sessions that include studio time, piano lessons or band. Language learning is also a core component, with options in French, Spanish, Mandarin and English as a second language, allowing students to strengthen communication skills while experiencing a more global approach to education.
This mix of structured learning and creative exploration gives the program a rhythm that feels varied and engaging rather than repetitive.

STEM, Creativity And Real-World Skills
In addition to arts and language offerings, the camp places a strong emphasis on STEM-based learning. Students can explore subjects like biology, physics, math and robotics in a setting that encourages curiosity and experimentation. These sessions are balanced with hands-on activities that focus on practical skills, including cooking, jewelry creation, crochet and chess, areas that introduce both creativity and problem-solving in a more applied way.
Together, these experiences create a well-rounded environment where academic concepts and everyday skills develop side by side.

Designed With Working Families In Mind
Flexibility extends beyond the curriculum into the daily schedule. Families can choose between half-day and full-day enrollment, with full-day campers receiving lunch as part of the program at no additional cost. For those needing extended coverage, early drop-off begins at 7:30 a.m., and pick-up is available as late as 6 p.m., making the program a practical option for working parents managing full-day schedules.
What To Know Before You Enroll
The camp is organized across two campuses based on age group. Children ages 3 to 10 attend sessions at the Churchill campus, while students 11 and older participate at the Waterview campus. This structure allows programming to be tailored more closely to each age group, creating a more appropriate and engaging experience for younger children and teens alike.
Registration is now open, and availability may vary depending on program selection and timing.
