Pineda’s Mexican Cuisine has rebranded to La Sombra Cantina in Richardson, according to a news release. The restaurant features an updated Tex-Mex menu, with highlights including ribeye carne asada, poblano enchiladas and guacamole cantina burger.
La Sombra Cantina also renovated the restaurant’s interior, with updates including fresh paint, updated furniture, tiled accent walls and new design details. La Sombra Cantina will continue to offer full-service catering options.
With the rebranding also comes a new partnership with High Five Hospitality, which works with Richardson’s The Fifth and Shady’s Burgers.
“Our restaurants are places where families gather, friends connect, and the community feels at home,” said Greg Cooney, managing partner of High Five Hospitality, in the release. “La Sombra continues that tradition while bringing fresh energy, new flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere to Richardson.”
