No. 4 Beach Volleyball to host Lone Star Classic

AUSTIN, Texas – No. 4 Texas beach volleyball will host the Lone Star Classic on Saturday, April 18, at the Wright-Whitaker Sports Complex.

The Longhorns welcome UTEP and Houston Christian for the one-day event.

Texas will also celebrate six seniors – Macey Butler, Katie Hashman, Emma Grace Robertson, Hannah Ogden, Presley Wright and Karin Zolnercikova – following Saturday’s competition.

The Longhorns swept the competition two weekends ago at the Longhorn Showdown, earning wins over No. 19 Washington, Tulane and Houston Christian.

Texas enters the weekend with a 20-6 record, including a 16-6 mark against ranked opponents.
