With parking fees, entry fees, hiked vendor prices and more, it’s easy to lose your head – and your wallet – over how expensive Fiesta in San Antonio can be. However, plenty of bars and restaurants are celebrating the spring holiday by introducing Fiesta-related deals, discounts and more.

Brooster’s Backyard Icehouse

Brooster’s Backyard Icehouse at 815 Pleasanton Road is boosting itself as your designated pre- and post-party destination, touting a $5 “classic smash” with a brisket patty and cheese, $3 drinks and a live DJ. “Come hungry. Come early. You already know how this goes. 😤,” Brooster’s wrote. Doors open at 4 p.m., “throwback food prices” commence at 6 p.m.
Wok This Way
In honor of San Antonio’s everlasting love for impaled poultry, Wok This Way at 2411 N.E. Interstate 410 Loop No. 102 is offering chicken on a stick for $4.99, which they tout as the lowest price in town. The offer stands until midnight on Friday and Saturday, according to the restaurant’s April 10 update to Facebook.

San Antonio-born bakery chain La PanaderÃa is bringing a little Fiesta-themed festivity to the Spurs playoff season, as it’s offering free mini conchas to the first 50 people in line after each Spurs playoff win. The mini conchas are decorated with the beloved basketball team’s classic fiesta colors, orange, teal and pink.
Taco Palenque

If you thought free mini-conchas after each Spurs playoff win was a treat, you’re going to love what Taco Palenque has in store for the rest of the season – free tacos and coffee. That’s right, Taco Palenque is bringing in a little festive flair by offering customers a free cuppa joe and taco from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. the day after a Spurs win at its locations in San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, El Paso, Eagle Pass, Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley. Customers can choose from either a bean and cheese taco or a potato and egg taco. Either way, it’ll probably taste so much better because it’s free.
Box St. All Day

San Antonio has two Box St. All Day locations, and both of them are offering a $24 Fiesta special that gets you a Box St. Empanada Fiesta Medal, a house-made empanada and a margarita.
“We teamed up with San Antonio Afro-Latina artist Brianna Martinez-Brooks of Clay 2 Be Different to bring this year’s medal to life, inspired by our iconic Box St. Empanada,” the eatery’s announcement reads. “Each one is handmade, making every piece perfectly imperfect with its own personality.” The special is available until the restaurants close at 4Â p.m. today.
