The El Paso Election Department encourages voters to be prepared before heading to the polls:
If a voter requests a ballot by mail and later decides to vote at the voting place, the voter must surrender their ballot by mail to vote in person. If a voter does not surrender their ballot, a provisional ballot will be offered to the voter.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
As long as you are in line to vote by 7 p.m., you’ll be allowed to cast your ballot.

Make sure to have at least one of the following types of ID:

Mail-in voting:
Texans are allowed to vote by mail but must meet at least one of the following criteria:If you’re 65 years of age or older on election day.If you’re sick or disabled (here that means having a sickness or physical condition preventing you from appearing at the polls on election day without a likelihood of needing personal assistance or of injuring your health).If you’re going to be out of the county on election day or during the early voting period.If you’re expected to give birth within three weeks before or after election day.If you’re confined in jail, but are eligible to vote.
Those eligible must fill out this absentee ballot application and submit it to the El Paso County Elections Office to be able to submit a mail-in ballot for the election.
According to the El Paso Election’s Office, each of the voting machines is able to have the screen adjusted to meet the needs of a voter. These machines are all ADA-compliant with audio ballots and a braille keypad. All locations also have headphones. Texas law also allows voters with certain disabilities priority order in line. The voter may indicate that they need a priority order or any voting assistance from the election worker at the polling site.

Shall Doña Ana County issue up to $105,000,000 in bonds for the acquisition, planning, design, construction, and equipping of new, enhanced, and upgraded recreational centers, parks/trails, community centers, and for acquisition, planning, design, construction, and equipping of water/wastewater systems?
Doña Ana County GO Bond 2
Shall Doña Ana County issue up to $35,000,000 in bonds for acquiring, design, planning, design, construction, and equipping of event venue upgrades at the County fairgrounds, to include facility improvements, conversion of the old speedway to an amphitheater, and road access improvements along the planned High Mesa Road?
LCPS District Buildings Tax Question
Shall the Las Cruces School District No. 2 be authorized to continue to impose a property tax of $3.00 per each $1,000.00 of net taxable value of property allocated to the Las Cruces School District No. 2 for the property tax years 2026, 2027 2028, 2029, 2030 and 2031 for capital improvements in the District and eligible charter schools in the District including payments made with respect to lease purchase arrangements as defined in the Education Technology Equipment Act, but excluding any other debt services expenses, for (A) erecting, remodeling, making additions to, providing equipment for or furnishing public school buildings and pre-kindergarten classroom facilities; (B) payments made pursuant to a financing agreement entered into by the District or eligible charter schools for leasing of a building or other real property with an option to purchase for a price that is reduced according to payments made; (C) purchasing or improving public school grounds; (D) purchasing activity vehicles for transporting student to and from extracurricular school activities; (E) administering the projects undertaken pursuant to (A) and (C) above, including expenditures for facility maintenance software, project management software, project oversight and district personnel specifically related to administration of projects funded by the Public School Buildings Act [Chapter 22, Article 26 NMSA 1978]; (F) purchasing and installing education technolog improvements, excluding salary expenses of school district employees, but including tools used in the educational process that constitute learning and administrative resources and that may also include: (1) satellite, copper and fiber-optic transmission; computer and network connection devices; digital communication equipment, including voice, video, and data equipment; servers; switches; portable media devices, such as discs and drives to contain data for electronic storage and playback; and purchase or lease of software licenses or other technologies and services, maintenance, equipment and computer infrastructure information, techniques and tool used to implement technology in schools and related facilities; and (2) improvements, alterations and modifications to, or expansion of, existing buildings or tangible personal property necessary or advisable to house or otherwise accommodate any of the tools listed in this subsection (F) above?
LCPS GO Bond
Shall the Board of Education of the Las Cruces School District No. 2 be authorized to issue general obligation bonds of the District, in one series or more, in the aggregate principal amount not exceeding $65,000,000, for the purpose of (1) erecting, remodeling, making additions to and furnishing school buildings, (2) purchasing or improving school grounds, (3) purchasing computer software and hardware for student use in public schools, (4) providing matching funds for capital outlay projects funded pursuant to the Public School Capital Outlay Act, or (5) any combination of these purposes, said bonds to be payable from general (ad valorem) taxes and to be issued and sold at such time or times upon such terms and conditions as the Board may determine?
GISD GO Bond
Shall the Board of Education of the Gadsden Independent School District No. 16, Counties of Dona Ana and Otero, State of New Mexico, be authorized to issue general obligation bonds of the District, in one series or more, in the aggregate principal amount not exceeding $75,000,000, for the purpose of: erecting, remodeling, making additions to and furnishing school buildings, including teacher housing; purchasing or improving school grounds; purchasing computer software and hardware for student use in public schools; providing matching funds for capital outlay projects funded pursuant to the Public School Capital Outlay Act; or any combination of these purposes, said bonds to be payable from general (ad valorem) taxes and to be issued and sold at such time or times upon such terms and conditions as the Board may determine?
Anthony Water and Sanitation Gross Receipts Tax
SHALL A One-Fourth percent (1/4%) gross receipts tax be imposed on businesses within the Anthony Water and Sanitation District, with the proceeds being used for the operation of the district?
