The Arlington Fire Department is investigating the cause of a massive house fire on Sunday night.

According to Arlington fire officials, crews were dispatched to a home on Brookdale Drive shortly before midnight.

Officials said the two-alarm fire significantly damaged the home’s garage and living room and threatened other homes.

“I just literally live a street over, and I went outside, and I smelled something that’s like burning, kind of like a barbecue,” a neighbor told NBC 5 crews. “And I look up in the sky, and it looks really black, and I’m like, wow, like something is going on.”

No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.

The American Red Cross is working to help those displaced by the blaze.
