Officers were sent to the home in the 500 block of East Buckingham Road April 15 after receiving a call from a concerned family member asking for a welfare check, according to Richardson police.
Katherine Milena Guadron Orantes, 28, Hector Giovanni Herrera Herrera, 30, and a 6-year-old girl were found dead inside the home.
Guadron and Herrera were married and the child was their daughter, Richardson police confirmed to The Dallas Morning News Monday.
A handgun was found inside the home, police said. Herrera is suspected to have shot his wife and child, then himself, police said.
