PopUp Bagels, the chain backed by movie and sports celebrities, will open its doors in Dallas on April 24, 2026, according to an Instagram post from the company.
The grand opening of the store located at 5450 W. Lovers Lane in Dallas marks the brand’s entry into Texas, where it plans to open 12 stores. PopUp Bagels has locations in California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and the District of Columbia.
PopUp Bagels is supported by about 70 investors, including actors Paul Rudd and Patrick Schwarzenegger, football player JJ Watt and swimmer Michael Phelps, among others.
The 1,200-square-foot shop will be next to the Inwood Theatre, an Art Deco movie theater open since 1940, in the space formerly occupied by I Heart Yogurt.
The PopUp Bagels menu is simple, with no extras other than various schmears. Bagels come in plain, poppy seed, salt, sesame or everything, and the schmears include plain and scallion cream cheese, salted butter and others that change weekly, such as cake batter cream cheese or vanilla berry butter.
