How we got here
After Cindy Cohen-Taylor vacated her seat early in December, City Council officially adopted an ordinance in January to call a special election to fill the role.
Cohen-Taylor won her seat for Position 4 on Bellaire City Council in the Nov. 4, 2024, race against opponent Elan Tavor, as previously reported by Community Impact.
