After a sunny start to the week, rain is returning Tuesday to Dallas-Fort Worth.
According to the National Weather Service, a storm system will bring widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms to North and Central Texas, with conditions set to linger through Wednesday.
The thunderstorms are not forecast to be severe, the weather service said, but they will help cool the region down to a crisp high of 64 degrees.
Par for the course of a North Texas spring, the agency is expecting another round of stronger storms to roll in over the weekend.
