Popular modern restaurant STIRR has bid farewell to Addison after a six-year run.
“After an incredible run, we’ve made the decision not to renew our lease at STIRR Addison,” an Instagram post from the restaurant said.
STIRR was known for its rooftop bar and all-in-one experience, offering brunch, lunch, coffee, happy hour, dinner and late-night cocktails. The Addison location opened in 2020 and was owned by Imran Sheikh, Amin Sheikh and James Faller. The Dallas Morning News attempted to reach Imran Sheikh by email Tuesday morning but did not immediately hear back.
“STIRR has been a special place for us from the very beginning,” the Instagram post read. “What started as a concept turned into years of unforgettable moments, relationships, and memories that we’ll carry with us for a long time.”
It’s unclear why the owners decided to close the restaurant, but they wrote in the post that “this isn’t a goodbye to what STIRR stood for, but a moment to reflect on how impactful the brand has been for our team and our company.”
STIRR Addison was at 5100 Belt Line Road, Ste. 540, Dallas. Its last day was April 19, 2026.
